Welcome friends and supporters. Troop 442 is proud to be a "boy run troop." That means that the boys learn responsibility and increase their leadership skills as they move through the ranks of scouting. They practice leadership in their Patrol and Troop activities. We have at least one major outing each month, and attend a week long summer camp each year. The Scouts are regularly involved in service projects that benefit the community.

I hope everyone had a good Summer Break and is getting back into the swing of things, including Scouts.

We are going to kick off this Tuesday with a Patrol Leaders Council meeting. Please have any boys in a position of leadership attend.

Reminder we will be having a Court of Honor Tuesday 6/25. Parents are encouraged to attend, we will have a lot of Ranks and Merit Badges to award.

442 Families - We needed to push the campout scheduled for this weekend. We have added a sign up for the weekend of 3/22. Please RSVP if you can or cannot attend (or not sure) and we can make a decision by the next Troop Meeting. Thank you.

USS Iowa Campout

We have added a sign-up for the USS Iowa overnight on February 24th. This is a great experience to tour the Battleship USS Iowa and sleep on the ship.
